Links Supporting the Information Given in the Posts Against the Dragon*Con Boycott
Welcome to the Dragon*Con Boycott link and references post. While I’m including links in posts where I’m specifically citing a fact that needs linking/support, I’m also writing some opinion posts on the matter where I’m taking it as a given that the other posts will have been looked at. I realize that I probably shouldn’t do that.
So I’m doing this. It allows me to make a single link at the top of any opinion post that will then include all links and it allows me to post a single link in other forums where multiple links will get a post sent to the spam filter. I also intend to add links in to this as I find them or new pertinent news stories come up. By doing this, anyone who subscribes to my blog that gets notifications whenever I post or update a post can choose to ignore or explore the links VS checking to see if another post was updated with regards to what was said in it.
So here it is. Links will have titles on them and will be in chronological order where possible. Links without a date on them will be at the bottom of the list. These are links that open up a page of multiple story options, such as on the Atlanta Journal Constitution website’s search results page, where various stories related to the topic are linked to.
Many of the links included here are actual news sites and solid, no frills reporting. Some are blogs. Some are even from the group pages from Ed Kramer’s legal defense group. Obviously, you may want to take those with a grain of salt. They’re included here though for a reason. In some of this debate, there are people who seem to be unable to comprehend why anyone would have defended Kramer or believed in his innocence as late as 2004 or even 2005. The discussions in those pages, as well as the then current events they discuss, give some insight into why there was doubt and why there’s room to believe that people genuinely believed that the events of the time were proof of corruption in the system.
So here we go.
