There’s a Difference Between Suspending Disbelief and Turning Off Your Brain

There was an amazingly well written book released some years ago now called WWZ. WWZ (World War Zombie) was written as the chronicles of a man looking back after a decade’s time  on the zombie war that almost wiped out mankind. It was amazingly intelligently written, it focused heavily on the human element, it played around with concepts of the cultures and politics around the world and how they would impact our ability to survive, and it of course had its fair share of zombie action moments.

There is a movie coming out this summer calling itself WWZ. About the only thing it appears to have in common with the book is the name. The movie itself may ultimately turn out to be good, but I’m not holding out much hope.

If you want to post a counterpoint to anything I post, I have no issue with that whatsoever. I welcome it actually. The few who have posted something intelligent have been approved. However, for the larger chunk of you coming over and posting nothing but  string of insults and vulgarities, posting cutesy garbage with fake email addresses like @gofuckyouself.com, @DIAF.com, @ESAD.com, ect… You’re not getting out of the spam filter. Don’t waste your time.

Oh, and to the very special few of you who want to really push it with your comments, don’t forget that, while you may be able to get a post into the system with a fake name and email address… Well, there are other ways to ultimately identify you if you decide to cross a little too far over into the realm of threats.

Well, that took less time than I gave them credit for. Between their deluded sense of righteous indignation, arrogant sense of moral superiority, and, in some cases, irrational anger, you had to see the majority of this, well, mob in the making breaking down and turning into a screaming, angry mob working off of their own mindless stupidity. I actually gave them some credit early on though. I thought that they’d have gotten through at least mid-June before reaching this level of arrogant, mindless stupidity and juvenile, driveling nonsense.

Well, she didn’t actually say it in those words, but she managed to accidently say it without realizing it. How? It was easy for her. She just slipped into the realm of The Stupid and decided to don her tinfoil hat. Nancy you see has entered into the world of the conspiracy theory. Hey, why not? No facts are required and you can say whatever you want to say about a subject when you visit the Lala Land of Planet Conspiracy.

It’s not even the first conspiracy theory that she’s floated with regards to the entire Kramer fiasco, but it’s certainly the most inadvertently funny.
