And while you’re checking that one out, this was a later documentary by the same crew.

Cosplay Crafting a Secret Identity

This documentary looks into the lives of people who have elevated science-fiction and comic book costuming to the professional level. It also explores why Atlanta has become an unlikely epicenter of the phenomenon.

You can also check out the fine people at Earth Station One who regularly do an amazingly entertaining podcast and who countdown to Dragon Con every year with their ESO Dragon Khan Report. They’re up to 7 so far this year.

Oh, if you’ve never been and are thinking of going you might also want to check out this Facebook page started by fans to help newbies who have questions about what they need to do to prepare. Lots of useful tips. And even if you’ve been to Dragon Con, some of the above is just plain entertaining and worth checking out anyhow.

Hope to see you there.
