You don’t know the half of it. I was actually saving a little something for a more serious post on the subject, but you would not believe how far into nutburger Nancy A. Collins will go to defend the idea that her little conspiracy theory ideas have credibility.

Nancy launches an absolute doozey of conspiracy theory defense for her silliness in the same article’s comments section from the second link in my post.

So, in her little world, Kramer has avoided justice not based on the legal system down there handling the matter in an incompetent manner or, as the point of her boycott call supposedly claims, Kramer spending his way out of facing justice, but rather by threatening to out “other pedophiles in the state of Georgia” who are in positions of high power and influence.

This woman really comes across as someone with some serious mental issues going on.

I saw his posts in The Beat. It really didn’t surprise me. This is fast revealing itself to be what I said it was back in February.

This isn’t about Kramer facing trial or the victims getting justice. This is about going after Dragon*Con and a little ax grinding. The principle players started out and the various people that for whatever reason don’t like or dislike Dragon*Con are jumping on the bandwagon and ramping up the rhetoric. I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if Nancy pitched her book on the whole ordeal again or just self publishes it in hopes that the flurry of attention on her guarantees sales.

In the meantime, Nancy has gotten so far into the realm of not caring about being able to back anything she says with facts that she’s now floating multiple conspiracy theories about the whole situation. And, of course, those are then called credible by others supporting the boycott.

The only good thing to come out of this is that the side effect we’re seeing is what I said should be the primary point of it back in February. There’s so much local media attention on Kramer right now that the jails and the courts are under the spotlight.

For the first time in almost 13 full years, they’re not playing the game the way Kramer wants them to. The judge has denied bond, the jail is refusing to buckle under his games (http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/21997223/dragoncon-founder) and the DA, having been embarrassed by the Connecticut arrest of Kramer, is actually acting like this is an A-#1 priority.

I’m sure some of that can be attributed to everyone getting tired of this dragging on this long and the new faces in places that are key to getting things done. But at the same time, I have to think that the media focus on the legal system’s actions down there has got to be a part of this about face as well.
